Memos are not to be used to harass others. Guests found using MemoServ to send abusive messages to others in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy are subject to being K-Lined from the network.
MemoServ will hold a memo for ten (10) days before it is dropped from the MemoServ database.
The password you specified to register your nickname is required to utilize the functions listed below. You must be Identified with NickServ to use these commands.

Commands:
CSend - Sends a memo to a selection of Channel Ops.
Delete - Deletes a memo currently in your Inbox.
List - Lists all the memos currently in your Inbox.
Read - Reads a memo currently in your Inbox.
Retrieve - Sends all memos in your Inbox to your Email address.
Send - Sends a memo to another registered Nickname.
Set - Define settings for your Inbox.

CSend
This command will send a memo to all Channel Ops of a specified level and higher.
If the [level] is left out, then all Ops will receive the memo.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv csend <#channel> [level] <message>

/msg memoserv csend #MyChannel Any Ops seen my Twix?

Delete
This command will permanently remove a memo from your Inbox.
This action cannot be undone later.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv delete <memo number>
Example:
/msg memoserv delete 2

List
This command will list all memos currently in your Inbox.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv list
Example:
/msg memoserv list

Read
This command will display a memo that is currently in your Inbox.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv read <memo number>

Retrieve
This command will send all memos currently in your Inbox, to the email address used during nickname registration.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv retrieve

Send
This command will send a memo to another registered nickname.
Both sender and receiver must have registered nicknames.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv send <nick> <message>
Example:
/msg memoserv send jinxi I think we've just run out of Twix bars

Set
Set various options on your Inbox.
For additional information on each option:
Syntax:
/msg memoserv help set <option>
Options:
Forward - Max - NoFwd - NoMemo - Secure
Example:

Set Forward
Sets a new nickname to who all memos will be forwarded. The other nick must be registered and allow memos to be received.
To disable forwarding, specify your own nickname.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv set forward <nick>
Example:
/msg memoserv set forward MrTwix

Set Max
Sets the maximum number of memos you can house in your Inbox.
Once this limit has been reached, nobody else will be able to send you any memos.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv set max <number>
Example:
/msg memoserv set max 10

Set NoFwd
When set to ON, nobody will be able to forward memos to your Inbox.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv set nofwd <on|off>
Example:
/msg memoserv set nofwd on

Set NoMemo
When set to ON, nobody will be able to send you any memos at all.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv set nomemo <on|off>
Example:
/msg memoserv set nomemo on

Set Secure
When set to ON, you will have to be Identified before it is possible to access your memos.
Syntax:
/msg memoserv set secure <on|off>
