StarChat Staff Application
StarChat accepts applications for network helpers. Please fill out the following application if you are interested in joining the StarChat team. Incomplete applications cannot be considered so please take the time to ensure your application is complete.

StarChat Policy Team will contact you by the E-mail address listed on your application to notify you of the status of your application. Please address all questions regarding becoming a helper or the completion of your application to the Policy Team via the contact form.

Minimum Staff Criteria

Be a registered StarChat user in good standing with the network for at least 30 days. Those individuals akilled or klined for violations of the Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for help positions.
Understand and be able to speak/write English fluently.
Have knowledge of all StarChat Services commands and be able to instruct others on their use.
Have knowledge of IRC clients such as mIRC and pIRCh.
Contribute at least ten (10) hours per week to actively helping in #starchat and attend at least one (1) hourly continuing education class per month.
Be able to work in a team environment alongside other staff members.
Respect people as they request assistance, utilizing patience and a positive attitude in our client-oriented service environment.
Knowledge of Java applications and WebTV/MSNTV is preferred.
Fluency in other languages is helpful.
